North Valley Regional Library

The North Valley Regional Library serves the communities of New River, Anthem and Desert Hills. It is located on the campus of Boulder Creek High School and is a joint-use facility (public and students). The state-of-the-art, 23,500 square foot library has a collection of over 80,000 items including best-sellers, books on CD, music CDs, newspapers, magazines and DVDs. The library has 50 computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office software. The facility features teen and youth areas with their own collections. Programs for adults, teens and children are offered on a regular basis; check our online calendar for the latest program listings.

The New Friends of North Valley Regional Library is an active library friends group which holds used book sales throughout the year. New members are welcome. Contact them via newfriendsnvlibrary@gmail.com.

Teens ages 12-18: The library wants YOU for this year's Summer Reading Program! Volunteers help register kids, teens and adults for the summer reading program, distribute prizes, help with programs, shelve library books, etc. Orientation for session 1 is Thursday, May 9 at 6:30pm OR Saturday, May 11 at 11am. Orientation for session 2 is Saturday, June 1 at 11am.

• Complete the application, sign it, and have a parent/guardian sign it
• Read both of the Teen Volunteer Contracts, sign them, and have a parent/guardian sign them
• Attend one of the Teen Volunteer Orientations (you only have to attend one)
• Bring the signed application and contracts with you to the orientation

We hope you are enjoying our new 7-DAY EXPRESS books program for quick access to your favorite, best-selling books!

If not, consider this your exclusive invitation to participate in the program.

EXPRESS books can be checked out from select libraries for up to seven days; they cannot be reserved or renewed. You must come into the library to check out an EXPRESS book.

For your convenience, EXPRESS titles are limited to a maximum 400 pages to make them easy reads within a week. New titles are being added every month.

Participating libraries include Southeast Regional, Perry Branch, North Valley Regional, Northwest Regional & Litchfield Park Branch. Look for these select books with the neon green 7-DAY EXPRESS sticker on the spine in a special display area.
