The Queen Creek Branch Library, located at the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, opened in November 2008. The library is designed to provide a gathering place for people of all ages. It includes the Mary Lou Fulton Children's Center, a Teen Oasis, general reading areas, public computers, study rooms, conference rooms and Town recreation programming space. Queen Creek is a ShelfLogic branch.
The Friends of the Queen Creek Library operate a resale bookstore and provide additional support for the branch.
Volunteering:
Teens ages 14 to 18 interested in volunteering this summer as part of the library's Summer Reading Program MUST fill out an application form (download from link below or pick up one at the main desk) and BRING IT WITH THEM to ONE of three mandatory Orientation sessions (May 9, May 15, OR May 20 -- pre-registration on the online calendar is appreciated but not required). Volunteer opportunities include working at the Summer Reading desk registering participants and handing out prizes and/or shelving items and tidying the library.
The number of volunteer positions is limited; your application, availability, and performance in the Orientation will be considered in making final volunteer selections.

We do not currently have any openings for adult volunteers. We will likely be recruiting for adult and teen (ages 14+) regular (non-summer) volunteers again in August or September. Please keep checking back to the calendar for that Orientation and Application.

Note to Pinal County residents
The Queen Creek Branch Library is part of the Maricopa County Library District. Any individual showing proof of residence and /or property ownership in Maricopa County is eligible to apply for a free library card. The Maricopa County Library District is funded primarily by a secondary property tax. Non-residents who live outside Maricopa County and who do not own property in Maricopa County must pay a fee to obtain a card because they do not pay the secondary property tax that supports the operations of the Library District.
If you are not a Maricopa County resident or Maricopa County property owner, the branch library staff will assist you in finding the nearest library which would be available for your use without a non-resident fee.
